Educational Qualification :
- Candidates should possess M.V.Sc/ M.Sc Degree in any one of the following disciplines/ subject Animal Nutrition/ Animal Physiology/ Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Livestock Production and Management/ Animal Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Husbandry and Dairying/ Animal Sciences/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Environmental Sciences etc., with Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average for Project Assistant II post.
- M.Tech/ M.Sc Degree in any one discipline/ subject Dairy Engineering/ Dairy Technology/ Dairy Chemistry/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering and Technology with CGPA of at least 6.5 or equivalent percentage from a university or an affiliated Institute or Post Graduation degree in any one of above discipline with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification for Senior Research Fellow post, Ph.D degree in any one of following discipline/ subject Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences supported by Ph.D thesis work or research papers in the field, area of Proteomics/ Gene protein expression analysis & Bioinformatics or Master’s Degree in any one of following discipline/ subject Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship in the field/ area of Proteomics, Gene protein expression analysis & Bioinformatics for Research Associate post.
- Candidates should possess M.Sc/ M.V.Sc./ M.Tech. Degree in any one of the disciplines/ subject in Animal Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ BioInformatics, Post Graduation Degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET
Qualification.
Age Limit :
Candidates age should be 40 years for men & 45 years for women for Research Associate post, 35 years for men & 40 years for women for Senior Research Fellow & Project Assistant II posts as on date of Interview. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC and PHC as per GOI/ ICAR rules.
